MamaFrog's Cake Creations

I have a wedding coming up March 2010 and I ordered and paid for MamaFrog's cake in August 2009. Fast forward to February, less than a month to my wedding day and I haven't heard any correspondence from the owner. I have to call her only to find out that she has canceled all March cake orders with no explanation, but has neglected to inform me. Now I have to rush to find another cake vendor that can take me at the last hour for a considerably higher price. On top of everything it took multiple calls and emails before I was finally able to get my refund over a week later. Very unreliable, unprofessional and has caused me much grief during the last few weeks prior to my wedding. I would definitely not recommend.

Ledine was very responsive to our silly ideas, and our cakes came out great! Not perfect, but imperfect in a way that only the bride & groom would notice. She did an amazing job with our fondant design, and the flavor of the cakes was wonderful. We came home from the honeymoon to find that someone had left a huge chunk of groom's cake on the kitchen table for a week, and it was still tasty and moist. Her prices are very competitive, and she lets you have as many flavors as you like, with no extra fees (try the cookies and cream).

The cake was not only beautiful but also delicious and the cause of many compliments from our guests (and much delight on our parts as well!). The owner responded to my request for information quickly and always answered e-mails within minutes. This was the ideal cake experience - it could not have been better, and I highly recommend MamaFRog's Cake Creations to anyone!

As soon as i spoke with Ledine i knew she was going to make the best cake for my wedding. We came to MamaFrogs with only a month before our wedding date and she came threw with Flying colors. When my husband to be took abit of the tester cakes he almost feel out of his chair it was so good. I have told all my friends and family about MamaFrogs and i will be going back to get many more cakes!

MamaFrog's Cake Creations saved my wedding cake dilema! Before finding MamaFrog's, I had hired and paid for my cake to be made at a very long established bakery in Ft. Worth. The cake that I wanted was on display in their bakery window. A few days after me securing their services, I was told that I had been undercharged $100, and also, due to the design that I wanted (on display in their window mind you) that the cost would be another $150.00!! I stated that I would compromise with the designer on my design and was told he just couldn't do it....go figure...!!! Well, I requested and got my money back and then went on-line to find another bakery. With 2 weeks left to go before wedding date, I found MamaFrog's on the "weddingwire" site and contacted them for a cake tasting and design consulatation. Ledine with MamaFrog's not only welcomed the challange, but surpassed my expectations!! We also did not want a "traditional" cake topper and she used her expertise and creativity and accomplished that request beautifully. The cake was not only the design that we wanted very much but we also wanted 3 different flavors and they were all absolutely delicious!! I now have a dependable baker, and one that I know that no matter what my request, they will do their very best to accomodate my design desires! MamaFrog's Cake Creations is THE BEST!!!! There was so many choices of creating the cake. The cost of the cake was very good and the little kids loved it! Came on time and it was my dream cake for my wedding.

Great service, beautiful design, amazing cake, and reasonably priced! Can't beat that! Mamafrog's is hands down the best bakery in DFW.

We had our fair share of experiences with other bakeries. Some wouldn't return phone calls, a few wouldn't listen to our requests and needs and one actually booked our order and then later told us they couldn't do the design we wanted. Then we found MamaFrog's Cake Creations' website. We loved their work, and not just the wedding cakes! We contacted them and everything was so stress-free from there! We loved their cakes and everyone at the wedding was raving about them. Ledine was a pleasure to work with!

This bakery and the head baker far surpassed my expectations and desires. Not only did she listen and provide me with a multitude of choices for our bride's cake and groom's cake, she also guided us and communicated with us throughout our entire experience. She went above and beyond, and we forever owe her our gratitude. We chose a beautiful design with 3 different cake flavors for the bride's cake and a nontraditional fun groom's cake. Not only were the cakes amazing to look at, but also a heavenly experience to eat! I have since used mamafrog's for all my cake needs and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend this bakery.

Ledine is a cake guru!! She provided us with the most amazing wedding cake possible, and my guests were highly impressed by the design and the taste! I am so glad I found her and her marvelous cakes!

We could not have been happier with the service that Ledine and MamaFrog's Cakes gave us! I brought her a picture that I saw in a magazine and we discussed what we wanted OUR cake to look like. She listened and designed a beautiful cake. The price could not be beat! And the taste was amazing! What a great experience!!

MamaFrog's Cakes did an outstanding job on our wedding cake! We had a large wedding and couldn't believe some of the prices that are charged from others! They are priced fair and what we received in return was FAR more than we expected! We were married a little over a year ago and they provided a fresh anniversary cake for us to celebrate instead of eating frozen cake ;-) We have used them numerous times since then as well and always recommend to our friends. Wonderful communication and never a disappointment!!

Our cake was amazing it tasted good too! Laid back and easy to talk to you. We were really happy with the cake and honestly my only regret is not having enough time on our wedding day to taste every layer. I would highly recommend MamaFrog's Cake Creations
