April and her team did an amazing job assisting me in planning my dream wedding. They helped me with everything from contacting and organizing vendors to packing the car with gifts after the wedding! It was so nice to be able to enjoy my wedding day. You always hear how stressful the wedding day is, but April and her team took over and did everything. All I did was relax and get dressed! During the planning process, I literally emailed/texted April everyday and she always responded. I would recommend April and her team to any bride wanting a stress-free wedding day!

We worked primarily with Carissa at a Flair for Elegance, and she was amazing! I originally had not planned to have any kind of planner, but at the last-minute my family talked me into getting a day-of coordinator. Carissa turned out to be so much more. Pros: Carissa and owner, April, worked with me at my initial consultation to come up with a customized plan that accomplished what I needed at a price that fit within my budget. Carissa looked over my contracts, consulted me about changes that she thought would be beneficial, and then took care of those changes (once she had the OK from me) with the other vendors. She coordinated arrival time with all of the vendors for me, and worked through the timeline of the entire day with us. She organized setup and tear down, and made sure that everything went smoothly on our day. Those are all things that I expected from her, but Carissa ended up going way above and beyond. She helped us with some of our decorations and signage, even purchasing and crafting some of them. When we had an issue with our venue that had me in tears, she figured out an alternative and communicated the new plan with every vendor that was affected. She also did so many little things for my husband and I along the way that had such a huge impact. She gave me a small bridal relaxation kit the evening of our rehearsal, and I was so taken aback by her thoughtfulness. Finally, my absolute favorite thing, she created a print of my husband and I in the places of Han Solo and Princess Leia, and put it in our basket of snacks that we took to our B&B the night of our wedding. We were shocked and thrilled when we found it (our recessional song was the Star Wars theme). Ultimately, I cannot recommend Carissa and a Flair for Elegance highly enough. Cons: None. I only wish that I had hired her sooner!

From our first meeting, I was extremely impressed with April Coltharp, the owner of A Flair For Elegance. She provided information, resources and ideas that I don't think we ever would have thought of. The kind of details that really turned the wedding into a "dream wedding". She coordinated the whole event perfectly and dealt with all vendors so I (mother of the bride) could completely enjoy the wedding without a single worry. From the moment we first met April, my daughter and I knew that she would be a tremendous help to us. We hired her for "day-of" services, my only regret is that I did not get her involved in the planning process earlier. She was sensitive to our budget had great vendor contacts. She carefully listened to what was important to all of us about the wedding. Her mission was to remove much of the stress of the day from the bride and her mother. The entire wedding party loved her and most had not been in a wedding before. I was very pleasantly surprised at how lovely the reception site looked when we arrived following the wedding.

Hiring A Flair For Elegance was one of the best decisions we made early on in the planning process. With their help, we were able to quickly identify top-notch vendors that were wonderful to work with and helped us achieve our desired outcomes within our budget. The professionalism and helpfulness from A Flair For Elegance helped greatly reduce the stressfulness that is naturally part of the wedding and event planning process. As a bride, I had hoped for everything to be in order, so that I could relax and avoid decision making the day of the event. A Flair For Elegance was invaluable in helping make this happen - the wedding day was stress-free! I will be wholeheartedly recommending their services to anyone planning an event or wedding!

She helped us efficiently line up several vendors, who were also fantastic! April, who runs A Flair for Elegance, was amazing! She went with us to meet other vendors which was really nice and was available whenever we needed her before the wedding. The day of the wedding was so well organized � April took care of everything. Not only did my family and I love her, but my bridesmaids thought she was great too. One of them is currently using April for her wedding. I would highly recommend April to anyone who is looking for a wedding planner. Her services were well worth paying for!

April was awesome to work with throughout the wedding planning process. She met with me whenever was best for me, and was always available through email. Sometimes she did not respond to emails right away, but when I asked her about this she said she always reads them right away and sometimes doesn't respond. Once I knew that, I was not worried anymore because I am the same way. If it was important, it got done. She was very good at working within my budget. She worked well with the vendors I chose, whether they were from her list or not. She was firm and direct, yet professional in her interactions with them. On the day of, April and Ashlan worked so well together and with all the vendors. I know there were so many things done that I still probably don't even know about!! The church was beautiful, the room setup was perfect, and the reception kept flowing the entire night. April delivered everything she said she would do and more. She kept me sane throughout the planning process, and kept me calm on the day-of. I would recommend her to anyone for any event you need help planning and/or carrying out!!
