Elena's Cakes

We had Elena do our cake for our January wedding. In one word, amazing! Her cakes are beautiful and so very delicious. She doesn't use foundant, but her cakes have beautiful smooth sides and are so good! We did white cake and white frosting with scroll details. I would recommend her to anyone!

Our cakes was the one thing I was very picky about. I didn't want to pick just anybody for our wedding. I tried contacting other bakeries but then never replied or replied too late. Elena was very prompt on contacting us back by email or by phone. Our first time meeting her was great she was so kind and inviting. When we went to her shop it was very nice and quiet. It's by appointment only so I was glad that she had all her focus on me and my husband. We looked through all the books she had and we told her what we did and didn't like. She drew out a draft of our cake and I could not believe how amazing it looked on paper. She pegged my vision exactly! I was just amazed by that alone. The samples she had of the cake flavors were delicious!! We were torn between the champagne cake with the white chocolate filling or the white chocolate liqueur. We went with the white chocolate liqueur for the brides cake and the grooms cake was Kahlua Liqueur. Everybody loved both cakes!! They were so delicious!! I'm sad that I didn't get to taste the grooms cake and the only taste of the brides cake was the first piece. The price on her cakes are very reasonable! I would love to work with Elena again she was so nice and bubbly! I think everybody should go see her for their cakes for any occasion.

Elena was FABULOUS! Both my husband's cake and mine were absolutely gorgeous and were nicely priced. We taste tested MANY other cakes and Elena's were hands down the most delicious. We were married seven months ago and we are still getting comments from people who were at our reception and saw our cakes. We could not have been happier with them even my husband was giddy he was so proud of his cake.Both my husband and I would insist that people try Elena's Cakes!

Excellent service. The cake was actually good and met my specifications. It wasn't all chewy and stiff like most wedding cakes. Everyone got their fill and we saved the top for our anniversary. Elena was very nice and responsive also.

My cake happened to be included in my price from the wedding site, however I still was able to choose it from this lady. She is wonderful. Her shop is very quaint and she ony does a few weddings a weekend, meaning that her cakes have more of a personal flare. She does not use fondant, thank goodness and the cake was absolutly wonderful. We get so many compliments on its look and taste!

After seeing what Elena's Cake had to offer and tasting the many different samples we knew we liked her. Several bakeries pride themselves in making MANY cakes on the same day, but not her. She explained to us the reason she only booked either one or a couple (can't quite remember) for the same day. She did not want to be the one to arrive late with our cake. The cake was beautiful and all of our guests enjoyed it very much.

Wow, wow, wow!!!! I have to say that Elena was probably one of my favorite vendors! I tasted a variety of her cakes, and they were ALL amazing, but I chose the white chocolate liqueur and the kahlua chocolate for the cakes. I took Elena a picture from a Martha Stewart magazine, and she was so excited about making a similar cake. She drew the cake for me to show me exactly what it would look like. She responded to all e-mail and phone calls promptly and professionally. I needed to drive my cake 2 hours to the event, and she was so careful in packing it and gave lots of tips to help get it there safely! The cakes were beautiful, and most of all they were DELICIOUS!!!!

Elena's cake was, well it was very tasty and also beautiful! When I met with Elena, she was very empathetic and helpful in guiding me to the design I truly wanted. The cake tasting was one of my favorite things about wedding planning. ;) She is very professional and knowledgeable. She easily adapted our cake, something I'd seen online, so that it was perfect for a wedding of our size. She delivered the cake and set it up, and it was delicious! We got so many compliments. The only caveat is that Elena doesn't have any plateau cake stands which are so popular currently. However, we purchased one for what most bakeries charge to rent them out, so that was not too difficult. I loved working with Elena, she did a great job and I'm happy that she made our wedding cake!

Elena is very nice! I changed my cake design several times and she was so understanding. The cake was delicious! She didn't deliver to Frisco, but we didn't want to change bakeries because her White Chocolate Liquoer Cake was excellent. We received many compliments on the taste at and after the wedding. We would recommend Elena's Cakes to our friends and family for sure!!!

Elena was so sweet and patient when we met her for our cake tasting. My bridal cake was included in my reception package but we decided to pay separately for a chocolate groom's cake. Both of the cakes were extremely tasty and I received many compliments on how good they tasted. Elena also worked well with my florist so I didn't have to worry about anything on my big day. I would highly recommend her services.

Our cake was perfect. I can't say enough about how nice Elena is to work with - great tasting, design ideas, service, and perfect (yummy!) product. Try the champagne cake with white chocolate filling. Can't wait to eat the leftovers on our first anniversary.

Elena was great! We met with her and tasted her wonderful cakes! She had great ideas and scetched everything out for our wedding cake and grooms cake. We brought her our cake topper and ribbon and she had the cake decorated beautifully at the wedding. Everything was delicious!

We had a wedding cake and grooms cake, both were absolutely fabulous!! Our Wedding cake was 4 tiers, raspberry swirl with butter cream frostingÂ….YUM Our Grooms cake was Mexican chocolate in the shape of TX with a longhorn plate in the middle, topped with a groom strawberry in an orange tuxedo with horns and the bride strawberry was in a white gown with veil. They were so pretty we didnÂ’t want to eat them, BUT WE DID. Everyone raved about the cakes, I would recommend Elena for any event where a cake is needed. We cannot wait for our year anniversary to eat the top tier. WeÂ’re even planning on Elena making us a Birthday cake because we are dying to try the Champagne cake!!Thanks Elena!

Elena made my dream into a reality. She personally walked us through the design process until our vision was sketched onto paper. We left certain our desires would be met. We were right. The night of our wedding we arrived at our reception to find out 6-tier brides cake and Razorback grooms cake - they not only tasted amazing, but looked gorgeous. We received so many compliments and ran out of cake, even after we had ordered more last minute to avoid running out. I highly recommend Elena's Cakes. The Champagne cake with white chocolate filling is so divine!

Elena was so sweet and so easy to deal with. She loved that we wanted to do something different with our cake. Her flavors were really delicious. She has a tiny store that I drove by a couple of times before I finally saw it, but it was worth it. She gives you a great price for a great cake. Most definitely recommend this place!
