This church is absolutely breathtaking!!!After the first time my fiance and I laid eyes on it (And let me say that the first time we visited it, it was still under construction), we knew we had to have this church to be married in. The church is on an island surrounded by water, and on the inside, it has beatiful architecture and paintings. Following our wedding, we recieved numerous compliments on the beauty of the church, and that it was the most beautiful church they had ever seen. Go take a tour- I promise you will be hooked! Also, the wedding coordinator there, Ashley, is so helpful and accommodating. She is there for you every step of the way, and is very quick to answer questions and E-mails. The only negatives I would comment on is lack of parking/an unfinished parking garage, and no piano or organ in the church. The piano was especially a negative, because we had to spend extra money to find wedding music, as we didn't want to just put an ipod on play.

My husband and I absolutely loved our experience at the chapel. Ashely was so great and professional. It hardly needs any decorating at all because it is so beautiful, but we used a fantastic florist that was very familiar with the space. The florist we used was Fleurs & Events. I have heard glowing reviews from all our friends and family who came. The only thing that could have made it better was more space! The bridal room worked just fine, but it would have been nicer to have a little bit more space. There is a bridal room available for rental across the street but its a walk. All in all, gorgeous chapel! You won't find anything like this anywhere else. If you want to have people still taking about your beautiful wedding ceremony over 2 weeks after, have your wedding here!

The chapel is absolutely beautiful and Ashley was great to work with at our rehearsal and the actual ceremony. The cost to hold our 30 minute ceremony was definitely on the high end in my opinion but my fiance and I knew the Bella Donna Chapel would be the perfect place for us to get married the second we saw it in person! The chapel can be hard to find if you are not familiar with the area. I had several out of town guests that got lost and showed up late so definitely include a map with your invitations and use the address of the bell tower. One advantage to the chapel is that the interior is so ornate you don't need a lot of decorations, so you'll save money in that regard. The chapel and bell tower are both great places for pictures! :) My new husband and I feel like we had a perfect wedding and have received tons of positive feedback about how the chapel and our ceremony.

There simply is NOT a more beautiful indoor venue in DFW to married in than the Bella Donna Chapel, and overall, I couldn’t be more pleased with how smoothly the rehearsal and ceremony ran. We received so many compliments from all of our guests on how gorgeous the chapel was and how much they appreciated attending an indoor (aka air-conditioned) ceremony venue for a Dallas summer wedding. The architectural details of the chapel both inside and out were nothing short of exquisite as well as the tasteful décor. It was so beautiful, and photographed so exceptionally well that alter arrangements and pew décor become completely unnecessary. The elimination of the cost typically associate with additional floral and decor coupled with the fact that the venue is fully equipped for playing your ceremony music via ipod (as opposed to paying for a separate vendor for your ceremony music), makes this venue an exceptional value for the price. I also think the size of the Chapel was most perfect for the amount of guests we had. Other wedding ceremonies we have attended in large churches almost feel empty, but the Chapel fit our 150 guests most comfortably with some room to spare. I will mention to future bride’s that this venue is family-owned and operated. That being said, it was sometimes slightly difficult to get in touch with/receive a response from the owner-operators of the venue. They do not accept credit card payments, which may or may not be an issue for other couples. They also accidentally double booked my rehearsal time, and I was later asked to reschedule. Luckily, this error was identified several months prior to the wedding, so it was not very difficult to work around this small dilemma. Seeing as this is a relatively new venue, they probably will improve on these types of details in the future. The wedding coordinator was great, and really helped manage the efficient use of our rehearsal hour. Like I said, I couldn’t be more pleased with my decision to have our ceremony at this venue, but I wanted to make sure to give a fair and honest review of my experience.

The chapel is breath taking!!!! Everyone who attended were really taken aback. It was sometimes hard to communicate via phone or e mail but I think they have another girl hired to help now who was there and helped with our rehearsal and ceremony. Over all I would absolutely recommend this venue for your ceremony! I did not use them for our reception. They are building a new venue next to the chapel for receptions but it is not ready.

The Church is absolutely stunning. It is an incredible and unique setting to have your wedding in. My only complaint was the lack of reponsiveness to questions, concerns, and my emails or phone calls were returned in some cases a week or more later. The reception was wonderful.

I had a hard time getting a hold of someone from the chapel in the beginning, fortunately the florist had a key so she was able to take me over. One of the reasons we booked the chapel, other than the fact that it is beautiful, was because it provided a live feed for the relatives who could not be there along with a copy for the bride and groom. Unfortunately, they were not able to provide that feature. Extremely disappointing! However, the rehearsal and ceremony were handle professionally.

The beauty of Bella Donna Chapel is so worth the hassle. It was so difficult to get anyone to respond. I eventually gave up and let me wedding planner handle all communication. Even with her they would take a lot of time responding. There were several times were we waited weeks to hear anything. Again, the beauty is worth the slow communication. Hopefully this is something they will work on because I noticed a lot of reviews say the same thing.
