Alternative Wedding Services

We hired Rev. Gray of Alternative Wedding Services for our wedding this past Friday and we were extremely happy with her help and services. We originally planned not to have a ceremony, as were not going for a traditional wedding but decided to meet with Rev. Gray when we happened upon her website just to hear what she had to offer. She changed our minds instantly. She had great ideas and information and clearly showed a passion for the historical and cultural implications of wedding ceremonies. With her help, we shortly went from no ceremony to having the perfect ceremony that felt like it was written just for us. Four days after the wedding, I look back and think about how my hair wasn't just right or something didn't go exactly how I wanted it to but I can say that the ceremony was absolutely beautiful (without being overly cheesy) and it became the focal point in my mind to an amazing evening of love and community. We hired Ms. Arianna Gray as our officiant for our big day and she was wonderful! Even from the consultation, she was extremely knowledgable in all types of ceremonies and made some great recommendations that we ended up using in ours that I would not have otherwise known about! She was outgoing and personable, quick to respond to any questions and very helpful in the process of creating our ceremony and writing our own vows. Nothing was cut and dry with Arianna! She had a sense of humor and personality that only added to our ceremony and helped to make it that much more enjoyable! Even after the ceremony she followed up with us to let us know the status of our marriage license (which she took care of for us) and wished us a happy honeymoon. She's not just one to perform a wedding, but she truly does become a great part of it and we were blessed to have her as a part of ours!

Rev. Ari was wonderful to work with. During our first meeting, she was very knowledgeable about the different types of wedding services - from traditional to completely unconventional. And she provided us with all the tools to customize our own ceremony. Even when we provided changes a week before the wedding day, she was able to accommodate us. She was very easy to work with at the rehearsal, and the wedding party and family were impressed by her professionalism. We ended up having a short & sweet ceremony and it went perfectly! Even though we were all so nervous, she was able to keep us calm and on cue. She has a great personality and is very easy to talk to. Thanks Ari for making our big day perfect!!

We loved Rev. Ari! She was just what we were looking for in an officiant. She gave us great resources to look through and worked with us to design our ceremony to reflect what we wanted to have said and what was important to us. She helped keep everyone on track and yet kept the feeling light when any stressful situation did appear. So very happy we had found her to perform our wedding.

Arianna was absolutely wonderful. I had zero problem at any point during the whole process. The ceremony was perfect and she is very knowledgeable about many different types of ceremonies. We were worried about working on a ceremony by ourselves, but Arianna made it easy. Our ceremony even started late because of rain and traffic, but she stuck it out with us :) Thanks so much Arianna!

After an exhausting officiant search I was SO excited that we booked Ari. She was so helpful, so sweet and her ceremony was heartfelt and sentimental. Ari is a true professional and very eloquent. She actually cried when my DH said his vows! My heart was so warmed that even as someone who sees weddings all of the time, she still was moved by them. Ari is a must!

Arianna is so wonderful. My husband’s father passed away about a year and half before the wedding. When we met with Arianna, the first thing she talked about was doing a memorial candle for people you always thought would be there but can’t be. And I just lost it there in the middle of Starbucks! Arianna helped us create a ceremony that was completely customized to us, and it was so beautiful. She has a lot of great ideas, and she really knows the history and meaning behind all of the wedding rituals. She was great from start to finish, and our ceremony was perfect. And I don’t know if she has some kind of magic, but we got our marriage license back in less than a week!

Reverend Ari was very flexible and willing to make our ceremony exactly like we wanted. i especially loved that we were able to communicate by email to get her opinion. :)

Ariana officiated our wedding wonderfully - from the minute we sat down to meet with her we knew she was the one to be there for us on our special day. Learning that Ari knows and is willing to perform any cultural ceremony was a plus. We loved having the flexibility and empowerment to tailor the ceremony to exactly what we desired - tools were provided for us to be as little or as much involved in the overall process. Many post-ceremony comments have been made to us on how beautiful and unique our ceremony was - and it would not have been such if it wasn't for Ari's involvement with it.

Rev. Ari was so wonderful and we couldn't have been happier with her and her services. We loved the fact that she had so many great ideas about different ceremony details. Something extra special is that she officiated my brother and his wife's wedding, and did a wonderful job for them too! We HIGHLY recommend Rev. Ari as a wedding officiant!

Ari was one of our favorite vendors. After our first consultation with her, we immediately knew that we didn't need to look for another officiant. We are not religious but wanted our ceremony to be special and we didn't want it to be 5 minutes long either. She was on board with us the entire way. She gave us great ideas and helped us put together a truly special ceremony. It's a few weeks after our wedding and we are still getting comments about how special and "us" it was. Ari was absolutely wonderful!! We were worried because we had waited until the last minute to find an officiant, but I am so happy that we did because Ari was amazing. I would definitely recommend her to anyone that has upcoming nuptials. She rolled with the punches and was extremely professional. When the ceremony started the DJ did not have her mic on, and she did not even bat an eye lash.
