Peacock River Ranch

Our venue is conveniently located in Gatesville, Texas, just thirty minutes from Waco, Temple, Copperas Cove or Killeen, a mere one and one-half hour drive from Austin, and a little over two hours from the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Set on forty-eight beautiful acres, the Leon River flows through the southern end of the property, while Stone Ridge Creek flows through the northern end. The bride's room, the PeachickHouse, is private, has a bath, and back porch with rockers overlooking the river.  The groom room is privately located away from the bridal house in the event barn.

We can comfortably accommodate up to 150 guests for Shady Grove, and up to 350 guests for our Stone Ridge location. We will allow time for decorating, receiving vendors, getting dressed and wedding photography.

We allow up to five hours to be set aside for the ceremony and reception, to include at least one half hour for cleanup. Also included is a one hour rehearsal time the evening before, to be scheduled around any event that is later scheduled.

Our venue price is $1900 for Shady Grove, $2800 for Stone Ridge and includes:

• Outdoor wedding pavilion equipped with sound system

• Shady Grove with re-heating kitchen for your caterer
• Stone Ridge with re-heating kitchen for your caterer

• Shady Grove event barn includes an iPod ready, professional sound system with lights and disco ball
• 100 (Shady Grove), 200 (Stone Ridge) white, padded wedding chairs at the reception area
• 100 (Shady Grove) white, 200 (Stone Ridge) padded wedding chairs at the wedding arbor
• 10 round tables, 4 rectangular tables (2 are 8' and 2 are 6'), and 2 square tables (4')
